Personal Information: Married to Lynn, five children — Jennifer (married), Tricia a beautician, Thomas who is an officer in the Air Force after
recently graduating from the Air Force Academy, Adam who is a
freshman in college, and Peter who is a high school
junior.
Gary has taught at Lutheran High Schools in Detroit and Milwaukee, and at Concordia University in Milwaukee. For ten years starting in 1975, he directed and toured with Joy, Inc., a Christian Ministry of Music providing
as many as 275 concerts per year to churches through the United States and Canada. Gary also served as Producer of Concerts for Dave & Barb Anderson at Fellowship Ministries in Phoenix before coming to Concordia Lutheran Church in San Antonio. He has been at Concordia as Minister of Music for the past
ten years. Enjoys: Symphony concerts, Broadway shows, electronics and hi-tech equipment, and leisure days with the family.
This is what I love about my present job: It is my joy to have the privilege and excitement every Sunday to be a part of leading people into the presence of God Almighty and worshiping Him. I love all varieties of music and that is the praise that I offer before God.
A Bible verse with special meaning: So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. For the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you through Christ Jesus from the power of sin that leads to death. (Romans 8:1-2 NTL)
